All vehicles supplied by Option to Buy Car Hire are fitted with a telematics device. This device helps us protect the vehicle, monitor location for security purposes, and manage the hire agreement.
If payments are missed, or the hire agreement is breached, we reserve the right to remotely disable the vehicle until the account is brought up to date. The vehicle will not be disabled while it is in motion. Customers will be contacted before action is taken where possible.
By applying for a vehicle, you confirm that you understand and accept the use of telematics as part of the hire agreement.
Friday payment deadline
All weekly payments must clear into our account by 18:00 every Friday. If a payment fails or misses the deadline without a prior arrangement, the vehicle may be remotely disabled until payment clears in full. Contact us before the deadline if you are experiencing payment issues.
